Art Spin Berlin is a free, curated bicycle-led art crawl of creative venues, artist studios, performances and site-specific installations, originally founded in Toronto, Canada in 2009. The goal of Art Spin is to create a community based art event that highlights the diversity and vibrancy of the Berlin art scene, while bridging the gap between the art world and the general public
The first Berlin tour took place in Friedrichshain/Lichtenberg on July 31, 2014 and was attended by roughly 350 cyclists. It included the participation of more than 25 artists/performers and 10 art and cycling initiatives. The tour will continue to take place annually.
Art Spin was founded in Toronto, Canada in 2009 by artist Rui Pimenta and was adapted to Berlin by former Art Spin Toronto coordinator and artist Vanessa Brazeau. Though Art Spin Berlin functions as a separate entity, it is supported by and inspired by Art Spin Toronto. The two projects intend to explore possibilities of international collaborations and curatorial/project exchanges for future tours.

We are looking for volunteers to assist us with our 2015 tour. In Feburary-March 2015 we will also be announcing an open call for artists who would like to apply to be a part of out 2015 programming
